Beloit Health System is adding a Per Diem Registered Nurse to our team at NorthPointe Ambulatory Surgery Care Center located in Roscoe, IL.

The Registered Nurse (RN) at our Ambulatory Surgery Care Center will care for, plan, coordinate, supervise and provide for patients throughout their life span. Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. The nurses at the Ambulatory Surgery Care Center provide care and support patients before, during and after surgery and/or procedures. Nurses may also assist the surgeon and the surgical/procedural team in their tasks.

The Registered Nurse (RN) at our Ambulatory Surgery Care Center will:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
• Work with all members of the health care team to provide optimal care to the patient throughout their surgery center experience.
• Serve as the communication liaison to family and members of the operating team.
• Assist in patient education during all phases of their experience at the ASTC.
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format with computer software application appropriate to position.
• Prep operating/procedure room for patient/procedure.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• ADN Diploma, BSN, or MSN degree acceptable
• RNs with their primary job code of 230816 at 106070 Beloit Memorial Hospital Ambulatory a State of Wisconsin Nursing licensure or permit required.
• RNs with the primary job code of 230816 at 456210 NP ASTC Ambulatory care an Illinois Nursing License and a Wisconsin Nursing License or permit is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR or the ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.

Reporting Relationship: Clinical Manager and/or Department Director.
