Entry-Level Software Engineer

Benda Infotech is seeking an Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, programming concepts, data structures, algorithms, and modern development practices.

This role is suitable for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are looking to build practical software engineering experience while working on real-world applications and development projects.

• →Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications and features.
• →Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• →Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• →Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, QA professionals, and other stakeholders.
• →Troubleshoot application issues and identify appropriate technical solutions.
• →Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and development practices.
• →Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services when required.
• →Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases for application development.
• →Write unit tests and assist with integration and functional testing.
• →Use Git and version-control practices to manage source code.
• →Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and development activities.
• →Document technical solutions, development processes, and application changes.
• →Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to improvements in development processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of software development experience, including internships, academic projects, or relevant project experience.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or C++.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git and version-control systems.
• Understanding of software development and debugging practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Experience developing web applications or backend services.
• Familiarity with React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, .NET, Django, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Exposure to Docker and CI/CD concepts.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• GitHub or other software development portfolio demonstrating personal, academic, or open-source projects.
