Medical Assistant (Per Diem)

The Medical Assistant partners with both clinical and non-clinical teams to enhance all facets of healthcare delivery at our clinic in New York, NY. Beyond providing direct patient care, this role involves contributing to administrative tasks that affect medical services. The Medical Assistant works closely with the clinic’s Medical Director and management team to ensure that every member receives the highest standard of care.

• →Collaborates alongside providers and clinical staff to provide personalized care
• →Perform lab draws, vitals and physical exams and as well as other assessments
• →Prepare for appointments by registering patients for exams, prepping rooms and equipment
• →Perform back-of-house clinical and administrative duties
• →Assist in care coordination of the patient experience
• →Perform any additional assigned tasks / ad hoc projects

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
• 1 - 3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Innovative problem solver with a keen eye for detail and track record of reliable follow-through
• Comfortable in a fast paced, highly flexible start-up environment
• Possesses the expertise to deliver personalized, top-tier service to a discerning client base
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with both members and colleagues
• Proficient with G-suite and adaptable to learning new software
• Ability to work in our New York City clinic, no nights or weekends
• Experience in non-traditional healthcare environment preferred
