At Black Rock Oceanfront Resort in Ucluelet, BC, we’re looking for casual Events Servers to help us deliver exceptional service at weddings, celebrations of life, corporate events, and more. Every event is unique — no two shifts are the same.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone with serving and/or bartending experience who’s looking for flexible, part-time work in a stunning oceanfront setting. Whether you’re working another job, going to school, or simply prefer part-time hours, the more availability you have, the more opportunities you'll receive.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Greet guests warmly and serve food and beverages with professionalism and care.
• Set up and take down banquet spaces; transform rooms for beautiful ceremonies and elegant dinners.
• Follow Banquet Event Orders closely to ensure every detail is executed as planned.
• Work closely with our Events and Culinary teams to keep things running smoothly.
• Maintain clean and organized service areas, and handle equipment and linens with care.
• Support your teammates and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous serving and/or bartending experience; you know how to read a room and elevate a guest’s experience.
• A friendly, professional attitude and the stamina to keep energy high throughout an event.
• Comfort working solo or as part of a team; you’ll do both!
• Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Serving It Right certification (required).
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
