About the Role
~1 min readWe’re seeking a Head of People to partner directly with the CEO and leadership team to build a strong, high-performing organization that can support our next phase of growth.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and execute a People and culture strategy aligned with company goals
- →Partner closely with founders and leadership on org design, workforce planning, and talent strategy
- →Drive a high-performance culture, employee engagement and retention, and team effectiveness
- →Own and implement the full talent management lifecycle - from recruiting to onboarding and beyond
- →Build performance management frameworks, feedback cycles, and career development pathways, including compensation philosophy, benchmarking, and leveling structures
- →Ensure compliant HR practices across Company locations and Implement and optimize HR systems, processes, and policies
- →Health and fringe benefits selection, administration, and vendor relationships
- →Support employee relations matters with the utmost discretion, fairness, and consistency
- →Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership support as the People organization expands
Requirements
~1 min read- 5–8+ years of experience in People/HR roles at high-growth startups, including at least 2 years in a leadership position
- Experience owning or building the People function at a high-growth startup (ideally Series A–C)
- Experience in a high-growth startup or tech environment strongly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of employment law
- Experience building People processes from the ground up
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Sound judgment and professionalism in high-pressure situations
- Ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution
- Willingness and ability to contribute to other areas of business operations as company needs evolve
- No ego, player-coach mentality - You will only have a very small team to work with to start off, so individual contributor work and execution will be required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) are a bonus
