Insurance Defense Paralegal Remote (NJ / NY Based Required)

Remote (New Jersey Division), handling New Jersey State and Federal court filings.

We are a leading insurance defense litigation firm seeking a highly organized and detail oriented paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation and is comfortable managing a high volume caseload in a fast paced environment.

• →Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and motions
• →Assist with preparation for depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• →Gather, review, and summarize medical records, accident reports, and other case related documents
• →Maintain and organize case files, discovery databases, and document productions
• →Manage attorney calendars, schedule depositions, and coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts
• →Conduct legal and factual research as needed
• →Monitor court deadlines and ensure compliance with filing requirements in New Jersey State and Federal courts
• →Provide general administrative support to attorneys

• Bachelor's degree in legal studies and/or paralegal certificate required
• Minimum 2 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in insurance defense

• Strong knowledge of New Jersey State court rules, procedures, and e filing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to prioritize, multi task, and meet deadlines in a high volume practice
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
