Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – Health Sciences

• Master's degree or PhD in relevant Health Sciences discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD.
• Specialization in Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Healthcare Management, or a closely related field will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of two (2) years' teaching experience at university level.
• Experience in curriculum development, programme delivery, and student supervision.
• Evidence of research, publications, and scholarly activities.
• Proficiency in digital learning technologies and Learning Management Systems (e.g. Blackboard).
• Strong commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and student success.

• Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, seminars, and online learning activities.
• Develop teaching materials, module guides, and learning resources aligned with university standards.
• Supervise undergraduate research projects, internships, and other experiential learning activities.
• Develop, administer, assess, and moderate examinations and coursework while providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Monitor student attendance, maintain academic records, and provide academic advising and mentorship.
• Participate in curriculum development, programme reviews, benchmarking, and regulatory accreditation activities.
• Conduct research, publish scholarly work, and participate in conferences, seminars, and collaborative research initiatives.
• Engage with industry and professional bodies to strengthen academic programmes and graduate employability.
• Participate in departmental, faculty, and University committees, quality assurance initiatives, and community engagement activities.
• Continuously develop professional knowledge and perform any other duties assigned by Faculty leadership.

• Strong knowledge of Health Sciences and related disciplines.
• Excellent teaching, facilitation, assessment, and student mentoring skills.
• Demonstrated research, publication, and academic writing capability.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in digital teaching and learning platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
• Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain high academic standards.
