Senior Maintenance Worker - Cecil Ivory House

• →Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of facility.
• →Make repairs requiring skills such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical.
• →Responsible for preventative maintenance of cooling/heating and domestic hot water systems.
• →Ensure that the periodic maintenance and inspection of elevators, sprinkler systems, fire alarm system and fire extinguishers is performed and documented.
• →Arrange for and oversee outside contractors as directed.
• →Receive and store deliveries of maintenance/office supplies.
• →Move furniture as needed.
• →Be a member of the fire safety team.
• →Participate in fire drills.
• →Related duties as assigned.

Full-time 37.5 hours per week

• On call for emergencies, this may require early and/or late hours.
• Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Five years experience in building maintenance, experience in trades is helpful.
• Ability to use independent discretion and judgement.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
