This entry-level manufacturing production position is located in Des Moines, Iowa. Specific position roles and responsibilities vary depending on the area of the plant. Some positions require driving mobile equipment, such as a forklift.
Potential applicants must be able to perform physical requirements which include, but not limited to, handling materials or tires on a repetitive basis weighing up to and exceeding 75 pounds (mechanical assistance is available for heavier weights).
Positions require standing, bending, pulling, pushing, lifting, and reaching. Must be able to work any shift schedule in a non-climate controlled environment.
Successful candidates need to be prepared to work a night shift and overtime when needed.
Benefits start on first day of employment.
Starting hourly rate of $22.00 / hour. Opportunity to earn over $30.00 / hour within 2 years of employment.
• Hourly night shift bonus (if applicable) - $1.00 / hour
• Carbon black bonus (if applicable) - $0.50 / hour
Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and criminal background screening.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
- →Teammates are responsible for their safety and the safety of other teammates.
- →Teammates must ensure the quality of our products meet or exceed our customer’s expectations.
- →Teammates must report to work when scheduled and be on time.
Requirements

- Manufacturing experience preferred not required.
- Must have the flexibility to work any shift including days, nights, and weekends.
