Pay Band: 5 Location /Country : Noida- Sec 142, India Department: GSS English & Exams (IELTS Operations) Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed term contract Closing Date: , 17 Aug’2026 11:59 PM IST Work Schedule: This is a 24/7 on-site role with rotating shifts, including night shifts. The position offers two days off per week, which may not always fall on weekends. Flexibility and adaptability to a continuous shift-based environment are essential. There is no hybrid work arrangement for this position, and it requires working onsite five days a week. Role Description/Purpose This role is responsible for building and managing the documentation of English & Exams operations to ensure sustainable, scalable, efficient, and effective service delivery. You will connect closely with the team to understand both their stated and unstated needs, using these insights to build a proactive operations delivery model that stays relevant to the business at all times. A key part of this role involves driving a culture of continual improvement on the floor, fostering collaboration and efficiency across operations. You will also be responsible for developing the overall process strategy to help the function achieve excellence. Role Accountabilities In this role, you will act as the documentation and governance expert for the process, bringing strong expertise in governance frameworks and championing the adoption of new practices across the team. You will analyse the effectiveness of knowledge management programmes by observing their usage and evaluating their impact in terms of organisational benefit, while also coordinating internal and external audits and training staff on audit preparation to ensure effective implementation of knowledge management across delivery functions. You will play a key role in encouraging staff to share knowledge efficiently and effectively, working closely with internal process owners to understand workflows and gather insights for continuous improvement. Maintaining the Master Document Control Listing and ensuring compliance with documentation procedures will be central to this role, alongside using tools such as MS Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to write knowledge articles for both front and back office processes, and developing L2, L3, and L4 process maps using the BPMN standard. You will also ensure that all process documents are properly maintained in the repository, and that clear guidelines are established for knowledge record retention, archival, and deletion. Close collaboration with audit teams will be essential to ensure ongoing compliance with documentation requirements across the process. In line with our commitment to security and compliance, you will be expected to read, understand, and comply with information security policies, promptly raise any concerns regarding non-compliance with information security or IELTS-related policies, and adhere to organisational policies including the code of conduct and IT policy. Qualifications & Experience * Graduate degree in any discipline * Minimum 5-8 years of work experience as a Governance and Assurance Analyst * Proven experience using MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint to write knowledge articles for both front and back office processes * Hands-on experience developing L2, L3, and L4 process maps using the BPMN standard * Subject matter expertise in MS Office and MS Visio * Alignment with British Council's Core Values and Behaviours, which will be assessed during the selection process Further Information Right to Work: Locally recruited Applications are welcomed from candidates currently in this location with a natural right to work.
