Role Purpose Supports successful delivery of the NFE portfolio in Iraq through implementation of NFE programmes and projects, including Youth Connect, in compliance with British Council policies and procedures. Responsible for financial administration, reporting and data collection, operational project delivery and managing relations with delivery partners. Role Accountabilities Managing Self & Others * Manage multiple priorities and deliver against deadlines. * Work independently while supporting effective programme delivery. * Manage vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and timely service delivery. Financial Support * Support project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. * Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. * Process vendor payments in line with financial guidelines. * Ensure compliance with organisational financial policies and procedures. Project Management * Manage project data, reporting, and monitoring processes. * Support compliance activities including due diligence, records management, and data storage. * Coordinate grants administration, procurement, and evaluation processes. * Organise programme events, workshops, and training activities. * Support the delivery of diversity and inclusion action plans across programmes. Relationship & Stakeholder Management * Build and maintain effective relationships with partners, stakeholders, clients, and suppliers. * Act as a key point of contact, ensuring smooth communication and delivery. * Monitor supplier performance and ensure agreed outcomes are achieved. Knowledge and Experience Essentials: * Experience of working in a supporting role on programmes or projects. * Administrative and financial administration experience. * Good understanding of basic concepts of monitoring and evaluation, and how they are central to good project management Important Information * Language requirements: The British Council systems and global processes operate in English.
