The Associate Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Broadridge's software products through testing and quality assurance best practices. Working closely with software engineers and cross-functional teams, this role helps deliver high-quality software by identifying defects, validating functionality, and supporting the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure product quality.
  • Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and testing documentation.
  • Participate in requirements reviews and provide quality assurance recommendations.
  • Support compliance with established quality assurance standards and processes.
  • Monitor software quality

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles. 
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

  • Experience with manual software testing.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of SQL,, APIs, or scripting languages.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience testing enterprise software applications.
