BYD’s Material Handling Business is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to help achieve aggressive sales targets and grow business with major accounts within an assigned geographical area. The candidate will work directly with the forklift customers, vendors, etc., to help grow the BYD Forklift Market in their region.
For this role, BYD seeks an individual with outstanding organization, communication and sales skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment.
Requirements

- Ability to coordinate with many different stakeholders in complex technical sales.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple large accounts simultaneously.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Collaborate with BYD Leadership to establish and execute sales targets for the region.
- →Instills confidence with dealer management and resolves conflicts effectively.
- →Team player. Communicates and works effectively with peers and broader BYD team.
- →Forecast and report monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
- →Develop specific plans to ensure short-term and long-term growth.
- →Develop territory sales and marketing strategies.
- →Analyze market data to find the most effective sales methods.
- →Communicate with customers to understand concerns and provide solutions.
- →Identify new sales opportunities through market research.
- →Present products and services to customers and project partners.
- →Participate in industry events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships.
- →Provides dealer training to support sales forecast achievement.
- →Participates and supports special projects from time to time as requested by manager.
- →Monitor competition within assigned region.
Requirements
~1 min read- 3-5 Years of Experience, technical sales and/or sales and marketing preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of dealer management and channel sales.
- Excellent communication skills with high levels of technical, financial, and commercial aptitude.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and result oriented.
- Ability to travel frequently within the U.S. to meet dealers and customers
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00
