We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our ATCO team in Cookstown, Ontario. In this role, you will support the Construction Manager in coordinating and delivering modular construction projects from planning through installation, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is an in office role based in Cookstown, ON branch.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the successful delivery of modular building projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and safety standards are met 

  • Travel to project sites to attend pre-construction meetings, progress reviews, and status updates 

  • Collaborate with sales and internal teams to review drawings, define scopes of work, and support project estimating (labour, materials, subcontractors) 

  • Assist with developing and managing project schedules, budgets, execution plans, and warranties 

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and cost tracking

  • Source and coordinate subcontractors, including vendor selection and issuing field purchase orders 

  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and third-party vendors to ensure compliance with codes and regulations 

  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues as needed 

  • Promote and uphold strong safety practices in line with provincial regulations and ATCO’s HSE and QA standards 

  • Participate in site visits, hazard assessments, and risk mitigation activities

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting mid-sized construction projects 

  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field 

  • Strong understanding of project budgets, cost tracking, and planning 

  • Ability to travel within and outside the region as required 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project
