EngineeringProject Engineer
We are looking for Project Engineers (Mid-level and Senior) who will support the delivery of complex marine and infrastructure projects across international locations.

You will be involved throughout different phases of projects — from tender preparation to execution support — contributing to technical coordination, planning, and on-site activities. The role offers exposure to a wide range of project environments and requires flexibility to work across different locations.

Our client is a highly specialised engineering partner operating in the field of complex civil infrastructure, with a strong focus on immersed structures, marine operations, and precision monitoring. With more than 25 years of experience, the organisation supports leading international contractors and project owners across Europe, Asia, and the Americas in delivering technically demanding projects.

Positioned at the intersection of design, engineering, and execution, our client plays a key role in projects involving immersed tunnels, caissons, and large-scale marine structures. Their work ensures that complex installations are engineered, transported, and positioned with a high degree of accuracy in challenging environments where execution risk and coordination are critical.

A defining characteristic of the organisation is its hands-on approach. Engineers are actively involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from tendering and method engineering to on-site execution support. This creates a strong link between theoretical design and real-world delivery, requiring both analytical depth and practical problem-solving capability.

With a well-established reputation in its niche and a growing international footprint, our client offers an environment where technical specialists contribute to unique, non-standard projects that demand precision, ownership, and collaboration across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.

In this project engineering role, you collaborate with engineering, project, and site teams to ensure that technical solutions are effectively prepared, coordinated, and implemented in line with project requirements.
  • Tender & Method Engineering: Support the preparation of tenders and technical documentation, ensuring methods are practical and safe.

  • Operational Coordination: Bridge the gap between engineering and site operations by coordinating transport, installation, and positioning activities.

  • Scope Ownership: Take full responsibility for specific project scopes, ensuring deliverables meet technical and timeline requirements.

  • Planning & Control: Assist in project planning, budgeting, and progress monitoring to keep complex international projects on track.

  • On-Site Execution: Work closely with site teams during execution phases to solve practical problems and ensure alignment with design intent.

  • Risk Management: Identify operational risks in real-time and propose pragmatic solutions to maintain project momentum.

  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear, professional communication with internal multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience: * Mid-level: 3+ years in a project-based infrastructure or marine environment.

  • Senior: 7+ years with a track record of leading technical scopes on large-scale projects.

  • Technical Mindset: A strong affinity for project management, planning, and budget control within a technical setting.

  • Problem Solver: A proactive, "hands-on" mindset—you enjoy solving puzzles where engineering meets the physical environment.

  • International Outlook: Genuinely interested in working on diverse international projects and willing to travel based on project needs.

  • Communication: Professional fluency in English; ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.

  • License: Valid driver’s license (B).

  • Technical Excellence: Work on unique, high-complexity projects (such as caissons and subsea structures) that aren't found in standard civil engineering.

  • Global Mobility: Opportunity to gain international experience across multiple regions and project phases.

  • Professional Growth: A close-knit environment that values ownership and offers clear paths for development into senior leadership or specialized roles.

  • Competitive Package: A salary and benefits structure that reflects your experience level and the specialized nature of the work.
