About the Role

As a Travelling Registered Nurse - Acute Care, you will deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care within regional Calvary acute hospitals, working alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams.

We are looking for nurses across a range of specialty areas, and placements will vary depending on your experience and site needs. This includes:

Emergency
Intensive Care
Perioperative Services
Surgical
Haematology/Oncology
Midwifery

Responsibilities

→Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments and acute care delivery
→Care planning, implementing and evaluating acute patient care
→Contributing to discharge planning in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
→Providing accurate, timely clinical documentation
→Communicating effectively with patients, families and care teams
→Practising in accordance with legislation, policies and professional standards
→Respecting patient values, cultural needs and confidentiality

You are a Registered Nurse who is adaptable, clinically confident, and enjoys variety and regional living.

Essential criteria:

Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
Full working rights in Australia
Recent acute care hospital experience
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Willingness to travel and work away from home
Commitment to patient safety, professional standards and teamwork
COVID-19 immunisation (unless medically exempt)

Placements available across NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS, and SA, including regional, coastal, and metropolitan sites.
