We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity/RMF Specialist to support operations in Rockledge, FL. This is a full-time, CONUS position requiring an active DoD Secret clearance.  

The base salary range for this role is $88,599 - $139,366 annually, depending on geographic location and experience. The final offer will be based on relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.  

Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity / ISSO professional, you will play a critical role in supporting system security engineering, RMF implementation, continuous monitoring, and Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) efforts across enterprise and mission systems. This role heavily supports the DoD/DoN Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle with particular emphasis on Stage 4 – Implementation and ongoing compliance operations. This role falls under Information Security Analyst within our compensation framework. This position reports to the Program Manager. You will: 

  • Executes and manages security controls and compliance activities in alignment with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) in accordance with NIST guidance to protect systems, networks, and data from loss and service interruptions. 

  • Analyzes, documents, and manages cybersecurity risks, incidents, and vulnerabilities, translating impacts to system authorization status and overall program risk posture. 

  • Develops, maintains, and tests contingency, disaster recovery, and continuous monitoring plans in support of system resilience and Authorization to Operate (ATO) requirements. 

  • Oversees implementation, validation, and continuous monitoring of security controls, including compliance with applicable Department of Defense RMF and DISA STIG requirements.

Must be proficient in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position. 

    • Some overnight stays possible.  

    • Periods of prolonged sitting and/or standing, including desk-based computer work. 

    • Travel between work locations, including company offices, customer sites, and government installations. 

    • Occasional extended work hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed. 

    • Transport and use of work equipment, such as laptops and job-related tools, during site visits. 

    • Work is performed in a secure facility where personal electronic devices (including Bluetooth- or Wi-Fi-enabled devices) may be restricted. 

    • Communication with team members, customers, and stakeholders through verbal and written methods. 

    • Ability to manage competing priorities, work under deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. 

    • Interaction with others in dynamic environments, including situations requiring problem-solving and conflict resolution. 

    • Compliance with applicable medical or travel requirements for certain assignments, including domestic or international travel, as required by governing authorities 

  • Bachelors preferred but not required  
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on RMF, system security engineering, or A&A efforts 

  • At least one of the following certifications is required: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) CGRC (ISC2 Certified in Governance, Risk, and Compliance – formerly CAP)SecurityX (Formally CASP CE) 
    • Strong experience in experience across the 7 RMF lifecycle stages, especially Stage 4 (Implementation) 
    • Hands on experience with RMF documentation and DoD /DoN accreditation processes  
    • Familiarity with eMASS, DADMS, STIGs, GIAP/SNAP, and DoDI 8510 series 

    • Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-series and DoD cybersecurity policies 
    • Researches and analyzes an organization's security threat information; and plans and develops security measures to protect critical information from counter-threats and possible attacks.  

    • Aids management in the implementation of security procedures, and documents security and safety policies and guidelines. 

    • Protects sensitive information by ensuring required software is functioning and being used correctly. 

    • Must have a current and active DoD Secret security clearance. 
    • Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation 

    • Alcohol and Drug screening may be required for federal contract compliance
