Respond promptly to resident service requests and complete work orders efficiently and professionally.

Perform general repairs and maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, appliances, and other building systems.

Assist in the implementation of the property’s preventative maintenance plan to reduce emergency repairs and prolong the life of equipment.

Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas for improvement.

Help maintain the property’s curb appeal by assisting with groundskeeping, cleaning common areas, and removing trash and debris.
- →
Prepare units for new residents, including turnover maintenance, painting, and repairs.
- →
Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure inventory of tools, parts, and supplies is properly stocked.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times.
- →
Assist in monitoring vendor performance and report issues to the Maintenance Manager.

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
Requirements

1+ year of general maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily or student housing.

Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.

EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required.

CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is a plus (if applicable).

Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.

Good communication and customer service skills.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in a variety of environmental conditions.
