Responsibilities

• Apply software design tools and web technologies to solve critical challenges in the healthcare ecosystem

• Own end-to-end Candor data processing system from ingestion to API / UI

• Fine tune and optimize existing system to improve scalability and availability

• Stay up-to-date on the most recent frontend / backend technologies

• Be able to relay key findings and insights to stakeholders using easy to understand diagrams and other visuals

• Write automated unit and end-to-end integration tests in parallel to development

• Team player and collaborates well with others

• Proactive attitude on raising concerns and providing solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field

• 3+ years of programming experience in Python, Golang or any other object-oriented programming language

• Experience with building APIs and backend systems

• Experience with system design and architecture

• Experience with Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc)

• Hands-on experience with web scraping is a bonus

• Good to have knowledge of frontend libraries like HTML, CSS, React.js 

• Familiarity with k8s, docker, ELK, and Airflow
