Regional Controller I - Buffalo

The successful candidate will have a direct impact on the Firm’s financial goals by partnering with Regional Leadership and by working with Project Managers across the Firm.
- Prepare and analyze regional revenue and profitability forecast, including review of project staffing and schedules.
- Report monthly regional project revenue and review performance and projection variances.
- Monitor and analyze project performance, and report to Project Managers and Operations Leaders.
- Carry out established business practices and monitor project team adherence to terms of contracts.
- Participate with project teams to measure progress and profitability.
- Work with project managers to development and input new work plans.
- Review consultant contracts and invoices for accuracy, align with project budget.
- Responsible for oversight of regional invoicing; timely and accurate according to contract and collection of receivables.
- Provide year-end audit schedules as required.
- Other ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as necessary.
- Work underneath the supervision of the Regional Controller II, and provide support to Regional Controller II
- Additional responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ related experience required.
- Must be detail oriented, an analytical thinker, and possess strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Team focused and able to work with multiple skilled professionals.
- Experience in a professional service firm a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Office is required; Deltek Vision experience preferred.
