Data Analyst - Finance Data

We are expanding our business rapidly across Asia (especially Malaysia). You will work on engaging projects with some of the largest banking and insurance clients in the world, projects that will deliver significant transformation and change. 

Through our collaborative and efficient approach, we help our clients successfully increase revenue, manage risk and regulatory change, reduce cost and enhance control. We specialize in banking; capital markets; wealth and investment management; finance, risk & compliance; and technology. We serve our clients from offices in leading financial centers across North America, Europe and APAC.

• 2–5 years’ experience in finance operations, data controls, reconciliation, or reporting, preferably in consulting or banking industry. 
• Solid understanding of reconciliation, data validation, and financial data flows.
• Basic knowledge of accounting concepts (e.g. general ledger).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis.
• High attention to detail with a strong control and audit mindset.
• Comfortable working with large datasets.
• Working knowledge of SQL (essential) for data investigation and analysis.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders
