Murex Test Manager (MxTest)

As a Murex Test Manager, you will lead testing activities across Murex implementation, upgrade, and transformation programmes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Define and execute the overall Murex testing strategy across multiple workstreams.
• Design, develop, and maintain MxTest test cases and reusable regression packs.
• Build comprehensive test coverage across Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Market Data, Interfaces, and Reporting modules.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression, and dress rehearsal activities.
• Ensure traceability between business requirements and test scenarios.
• Manage test execution, defect lifecycle, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, SMEs, and Business Users throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support production cutover, post-release validation, and hypercare activities.
• Promote testing best practices and continuously improve testing processes and automation.

• Work on large-scale Murex transformation programmes for leading international financial institutions.
• Become part of a highly specialized Capital Markets consulting practice.
• Shape testing frameworks that will be reused across future Murex upgrade programmes.
• Collaborate with senior Murex architects, developers, and functional consultants.
• Exposure to complex trading, risk, and reporting workflows across multiple asset classes

• 5+ years of experience in software testing within Capital Markets.
• Hands-on experience with Murex MX.3.
• Proven experience working with MxTest.
• Experience managing SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong understanding of the Murex trade lifecycle.
• Experience designing reusable regression test packs.
• Experience working on Murex implementation or upgrade programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English.

• Experience with Commodities, FX, Rates, Equities, or Credit products.
• Knowledge of Murex modules such as Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Reporting, Interfaces, or Market Data.
• Experience with test automation.
• SQL and Unix knowledge.
• Familiarity with Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.
• Experience coordinating distributed testing teams.
