ITC Digital Solutions is hiring a Lead Business Process Engineer to support U.S. Federal Government clients.  This individual is responsible for expert-level analysis, strategic planning, and technical leadership in support of enterprise business operations, information systems, and organizational transformation initiatives. This position leads business process improvement efforts, evaluates operational and technical requirements, and develops recommendations that improve performance, reduce risk, and enhance mission effectiveness. The incumbent functions as a subject matter expert across multiple projects, independently managing complex assignments while providing guidance to project teams and stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

  • →Lead and manage business process analysis, process re-engineering, and continuous process improvement initiatives in accordance with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
  • →Analyze, evaluate, and document current-state business operations, workflows, information systems, and organizational processes to identify inefficiencies, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • →Develop future-state process models and implementation strategies that improve operational effectiveness, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support mission requirements.
  • →Plan, coordinate, and oversee activities involving information systems, systems analysis, business process modernization, technology integration, and organizational transformation efforts.
  • →Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, interviews, and working sessions to capture, validate, and prioritize business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • →Assess organizational and program risks, dependencies, and constraints and develop recommendations to support informed decision-making and successful project execution.
  • →Establish performance baselines, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and process measurement methodologies to evaluate operational effectiveness and quantify business improvement outcomes.
  • →Develop, maintain, and standardize process documentation, governance artifacts, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business rules, workflows, process guides, and operational frameworks.
  • →Build and evaluate financial models, cost estimates, business cases, return-on-investment analyses, and cost-reduction strategies to support program planning, technology investments, and executive decision-making.
  • →Provide technical and business consulting expertise regarding information systems, process automation, technology capabilities, implementation approaches, operational impacts, and associated risks and costs.
  • →Translate business requirements into actionable functional requirements and collaborate with system engineers, software developers, architects, and technical teams to support system enhancements and modernization initiatives.
  • →Lead the planning and execution of large-scale technology and business improvement projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, schedules, budgets, and performance objectives.
  • →Develop recommendations for organizational change management activities, including implementation planning, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption strategies.
  • →Evaluate project and organizational performance metrics and recommend strategic, operational, or technological improvements that contribute to program success and mission outcomes.
  • →Serve as a recognized technical authority and subject matter expert across multiple programs, providing strategic guidance, independent analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • →Mentor and provide technical direction to junior analysts and project staff and may directly supervise personnel, task assignments, and project activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in business process re-engineering (BPR), process modeling, operational analysis, or continuous process improvement.
  • Must possess an active U.S. Government Security Clearance.
  • Must have a CompTIA Security+ certification or be able to obtain one within established timeframe.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex business process analysis, business transformation, and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of information systems, systems analysis, business process improvement methodologies, and project management principles.
  • Experience conducting financial analysis, cost estimation, business case development, and performance measurement activities.
  • Strong ability to evaluate operational requirements, assess risks, and develop strategic recommendations for complex business and technical challenges.
  • Proven ability to independently lead major assignments with minimal oversight while coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders and functional areas.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales- or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At ITC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $155,000–$175,000.

 

Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), and any other benefits available to eligible employees.

Note: No amount of pay is considered wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or other form of compensation allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company’s sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law.
