About the Role
~1 min readYou’ll join our Epic Managed Services team as a Willow Inpatient Pharmacist Consultant, supporting a West Coast health system. This is a hands‑on, build‑focused role where you’ll partner closely with clinical, pharmacy, and IT stakeholders to maintain and enhance Willow IP functionality. You’ll step into an established environment with active projects, ongoing optimization needs, and a strong internal team that values collaboration, clarity, and high‑quality delivery.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead and support Willow Inpatient build, optimization, and maintenance activities
- →Serve as a subject‑matter expert for pharmacy workflows, medication management, and clinical decision support
- →Partner with client pharmacy leaders and analysts to assess needs, troubleshoot issues, and recommend scalable solutions
- →Execute build for upgrades, enhancements, and small‑to‑medium projects (<80 hours) within the AMS model
- →Provide advisory support on best practices, workflow alignment, and downstream impacts
- →Collaborate with cross‑functional Epic teams to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient medication workflows
- →Document build, testing, and validation activities with precision and clarity
- →Participate in on‑call or after‑hours support as needed for critical pharmacy functions
Requirements

- 3–5 years of Epic Willow Inpatient build experience (certified)
- Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy workflows, medication safety, and clinical operations
- Experience supporting upgrades, optimization, and managed‑services style work
- Ability to translate clinical needs into scalable, technically sound Epic solutions
- Comfortable working independently in a fast‑moving environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, problem‑solving mindset
