Position Overview
Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida (CVICFL) is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving Ocala and the surrounding Central Florida region. This role includes a mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities with future opportunity to perform bread-and-butter EP procedures in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting.

Key responsibilities/services include:

• Diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, both standard and complex
• Performance of routine and complex catheter ablations
• Implantation and management of cardiac devices
• Electrophysiology studies, intracardiac mapping, remote monitoring, and comprehensive inpatient/outpatient EP care
• Opportunities for watchman implantation and other electrophysiology-related structural heart procedures

• Established referral base and growing patient demand
• Integrated team of cardiologists, APPs, MAs, and administrative staff
• Access to advanced EP mapping and ablation systems
• Coverage across multiple clinics and hospitals throughout the Ocala market
• Opportunity to help expand future ASC-based EP services

• Electrophysiology Fellowship Program
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Electrophysiology training programs
• MD or DO
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Open to experienced Electrophysiologists and current fellows

• Eligible for physician waiver support
