Job Summary

  • The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, supervision, and execution of construction and infrastructure projects.
  • The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of six 6 years of relevant professional experience in civil engineering and construction project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource utilization.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve technical and construction-related challenges.
  • Support project planning, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree B.Eng./B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 6 years' relevant professional experience in civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure development.
  • Demonstrated experience in project planning, site supervision, and construction management.
  • Registration with COREN is required.
  • Membership of NSE or other relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management, HSE, or related fields will be an advantage.
