Responsible for generating revenue and driving business growth within an assigned territory. Identifies, develops, and converts prospective customers into qualified sales opportunities for United Rotorcraft products and services. Execute sales and business development strategies to expand market presence, achieve revenue objectives, and support organizational growth. Establishes and maintains relationships with customers, strategic partners, and key decision makers to develop new business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships. Specific customer markets, products, services, and required subject matter expertise may vary based on the assigned business segment.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Support and Execute strategies to prospect and promote United Rotorcraft products and services to meet customer requirements and generate qualified sales opportunities against annual sales targets.
- →Respond to customer inquiries and requests for proposals. Lead proposal efforts with assistance from the Commercial Manager and Sales Engineer, including work scope development, technical specifications, pricing, and proposal compliance. Comply with all company policies and federal, local, and international regulations regarding proposal approvals, submittals, and export.
- →Support the development and execution of United Rotorcraft's Sales and Business Development strategy and provide market leadership to drive customer engagement, business growth, and revenue generation within assigned market segments.
- →Provide insights into and inputs to the development of United Rotorcraft’s annual financial and strategic marketing plan. This includes providing estimates of market potential for all relevant customers in assigned territory and market segment.
- →Manage customer and sales pipeline information in Salesforce with up-to-date customer contact information, sales pipeline details, and active campaign information.
- →Attend industry trade shows and symposiums as United Rotorcrafts representative.
- →Evaluate customer requirements, industry regulations, and trends to ensure United Rotorcraft / Air Methods remains innovative, proactive, and in a leadership role.
- →Manage any partners and consultants utilized to support assigned market, including monthly budget and payments.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements

- Air Medical or HEMS experience
- MRO sales or operational experience
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Defense, DoD, or government contracting experience
- Federal, state, or military acquisition experience
- Rotary-wing operational experience
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from an accredited four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five (5) years of sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing experience with demonstrated success achieving revenue and growth objectives.
- Five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following sectors: air medical, helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS), aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), aerospace, defense, government services, or related aviation industries.
- Experience developing customer relationships, identifying opportunities, negotiating agreements, and closing complex sales opportunities.
- Knowledge of aviation operations, products, services, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Additional industry-specific knowledge, certifications, licenses, or contracting experience may be required based on the assigned business segment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, strategic partners, government agencies, healthcare organizations, and industry stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify customer needs and develop solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and all organizational levels.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled sales, business development, and customer engagement tools preferred.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred.
- Additional certifications, licenses, or credentials may be required based on the assigned business segment.
