To provide information technology support to Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Information Management Area Services (IMAS). The primary tasks are: facilitate the digital transformation of PAE Fires. This includes the adoption and integration of advanced digital technologies, processes, and practices to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and overall mission effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Experience in leading systems administration and virtual infrastructure support, including VMware ESXi hosts, virtual machines/appliances, Red Hat OpenShift, and VDI.
→
Experience in server troubleshooting, maintenance, patching, backups, recovery, and secure availability of mission-critical systems.
→Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
→Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
→Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
→Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
