The Senior Sales Communications Specialist serves as the primary communications partner for the NAPC Sales organization, responsible for developing and executing strategic internal communications that align sales teams with business objectives, growth initiatives, product strategies, and organizational priorities.

 

This role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Underwriting, Marketing, Operations, and Employee Communications to deliver timely, relevant, and engaging communications that support business performance. The position leads the development of executive messages, sales updates, rate and product-launch communications, intranet content, announcements, presentations, and sales-enablement collateral that help drive awareness, understanding, and adoption across the sales organization.

 

The role combines strategic communications planning, executive communications, content development, stakeholder management, and channel optimization to ensure field sales employees and leaders receive clear, actionable information needed to successfully serve agents, brokers, and customers.

 

Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's business strategy, workers' compensation products, distribution model, mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities

· Develops and executes communication strategies that support NAPC Sales priorities, business initiatives, and organizational goals.

· Serves as the trusted communications advisor to sales leadership and key stakeholders.

· Builds annual and quarterly communication plans aligned to business objectives and leadership priorities.

· Identifies communication opportunities and risks and recommends solutions that improve employee awareness and effectiveness.

· Ensures communications reinforce company culture, values, and strategic priorities.

 

· Drafts executive communications on behalf of sales leaders, including memos, announcements, town hall materials, talking points, presentations, and leadership updates.

· Supports communication cadence for senior sales leadership, including key organizational initiatives and change management efforts.

· Develops leadership messaging related to business performance, strategic priorities, sales programs, and organizational updates.

· Creates communication materials for sales leadership meetings and business reviews.

 

· Develops communications related to rate actions, underwriting appetite changes, new products, product enhancements, producer programs, distribution initiatives, and sales campaigns.

· Translates complex business, underwriting, and regulatory information into clear, concise, and actionable communications.

· Creates communication toolkits and supporting collateral that help sales teams understand and promote new initiatives.

· Partners with Product, Underwriting, Operations, and Marketing teams to coordinate communication plans and deployment schedules.

· Ensures consistency and accuracy of sales-related messaging across communication channels.

 

· Creates and manages sales-focused content for AmConnect and other internal communication platforms.

· Writes and publishes articles, feature stories, business updates, announcements, and leadership communications.

· Maintains sales communication resources and repositories to ensure content remains current and accessible.

· Monitors content performance and engagement metrics to continuously improve effectiveness.

· Supports communication governance and content standards.

 

· Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Product, Underwriting, Operations, Learning & Development, and Human Resources partners.

· Builds strong relationships across business functions to proactively identify communication needs.

· Serves as the primary communications point of contact for assigned sales business leaders.

· Coordinates communication activities across multiple stakeholders while balancing competing priorities and timelines.

 

· Tracks communication effectiveness through employee feedback, engagement metrics, readership statistics, and other performance measures.

· Provides communication insights and recommendations to business leaders.

· Identifies opportunities to improve communication reach, clarity, and employee engagement.

· Keeps current on industry trends, communication best practices, and insurance sales communications approaches.

· Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

The expected salary range for this role is USD $76,600.00 - USD $100,000.00 Yr.
