Intensive Care Registered Nurse

• →Monitor and manage critically ill patients 24/7
• →Operate and manage life-support equipment (ventilators, CRRT, IABP, etc.)
• →Administer complex medications and therapies
• →Perform rapid assessments and respond to emergencies
• →Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams
• →Provide patient and family education and emotional support
• →Maintain detailed clinical documentation

• Surgical ICU (post-cardiac, vascular, and complex surgeries)
• Medical/Cardiac ICU (heart failure, stroke, respiratory failure, etc.)

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)
• Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS required for ICU/ED)
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
• Strong English communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Completion of VA-required training (safety, HIPAA, EHR, etc.)
• Compliance with credentialing and privileging standards
• Ability to float between units as needed
