Spinal Cord Injury Registered Nurse

• →Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring
• →Administer medications, IV therapy, and specialized treatments
• →Provide bowel/bladder care and wound management
• →Assist with mobility, ADLs, and rehabilitation goals
• →Coordinate interdisciplinary care and discharge planning
• →Educate patients and families on long-term care needs
• →Document care in EHR

• Acute SCI unit and long-term care settings
• Focus on rehabilitation, complication prevention, and quality of life

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)
• Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS required for ICU/ED)
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
• Strong English communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Completion of VA-required training (safety, HIPAA, EHR, etc.)
• Compliance with credentialing and privileging standards
• Ability to float between units as needed
