We're modernizing how ComPsych builds products — making our product development lifecycle AI-native from discovery through delivery, working closely with Engineering and Design end to end. As we turn services historically delivered by our Operations and Customer Success teams into digital products, their frontline knowledge of customers and how the product is actually used becomes essential input, so partnering with them closely is part of the job.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who already uses AI throughout the product lifecycle and wants to help shape how our Product organization works going forward. This is a high-leverage role: you'll spend more time on the judgment calls only a PM can make — framing the problem, validating what AI surfaces, deciding what actually matters — than on the manual research, drafting, and synthesis AI now does well. You'll use assistants like Claude and ChatGPT daily to accelerate research, requirements, and prototyping, then apply your own product judgment to what comes back before it shapes the roadmap.

Responsibilities

~2 min read
  • Own product strategy and roadmap as your core contribution. You set direction for your business unit — priorities, tradeoffs, and the roadmap — and align leadership and cross-functional teams around it.
  • Direct AI-accelerated discovery, not manual synthesis. Use AI to turn customer interviews, support tickets, competitor material, and market research into insights — then apply judgment to what's actually true and what matters.
  • Draft requirements with AI, then own the judgment calls. PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria start with AI — you validate scope, edge cases, dependencies, and prioritization before the team builds against them.
  • Prototype before you commit engineering effort. Use AI tools to generate interactive mockups and working demos, and test ideas with stakeholders and users while they're still cheap to change.
  • Turn AI-surfaced data into decisions, not just dashboards. Direct AI to analyze usage and product data and generate hypotheses; you decide what's worth an experiment and own the success metrics.
  • Engage directly with customers and internal customer-facing teams. Bring product thought leadership and vision to sales, customer success, and BD conversations, and equip customer-facing teams with the product knowledge and direction they need.
  • Raise the bar for how Product works with AI, building the prompts, templates, and guardrails other PMs reuse, and holding the team accountable for accuracy, bias, and privacy — especially with sensitive behavioral health and absence data.

Requirements

~1 min read
  • 5+ years owning products end to end — strategy, roadmap, and execution — not just a slice of someone else's.
  • Deep technical acumen and a real partnership with Engineering, with enough command of system constraints and tradeoffs to make good calls without being told the answer.
  • A backlog discipline you can defend: writing detailed stories, prioritizing under pressure, and unblocking a cross-functional team without becoming its bottleneck.
  • An analytical, data-driven approach to problem-solving, with experience working in an Agile environment and driving initiatives through influence rather than authority.
  • AI is already part of how you work, not something you're curious about. You use assistants like Claude and ChatGPT daily for research synthesis, PRD and story drafting, prototyping, or data analysis — and can point to outputs you caught before they shipped.
  • Sound judgment about when to trust AI and when not to, including real awareness of hallucination risk, bias, and data-privacy considerations — especially with regulated or sensitive data.
  • A track record of helping teams adopt new tools and ways of working. You don't just use AI well yourself — you raise the floor for everyone around you.

Bonus: experience in behavioral health, absence management, or another regulated, data-sensitive industry.
