Pharmacy Product Manager

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of pharmacy products and services, including specialty pharmacy programs, patient support offerings, clinical programs, adherence initiatives, and technology-enabled pharmacy solutions. Manage initiatives from ideation through implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- →Partner with pharmacy operations, clinical services, technology teams, program management, Hub operations, compliance, and business development to define product requirements, prioritize enhancements, and execute strategic initiatives.
- →Analyze pharmacy market trends, industry regulations, payer dynamics, manufacturer requirements, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and operational efficiencies.
- →Define business requirements, workflows, and success metrics for new pharmacy products and enhancements. Support product implementation through project planning, stakeholder engagement, testing, training, and launch activities.
- →Serve as the voice of pharmacy operations and end users to ensure solutions support patient, provider, manufacturer, and pharmacy needs while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.
- →Assist in the development of business cases, product roadmaps, performance reporting, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and portfolio growth.
Requirements
~2 min read- PharmD or B.S. Pharmacy required.
- Advanced healthcare or business degree preferred.
- Active pharmacy license required.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry conferences, pharmacy site visits, and internal collaboration as needed.

- Maintain strict compliance with company and client policies regarding business rules and ethics, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Compensation & Benefits: This position offers opportunities for a bonus (or commissions), with total compensation varying based on factors such as location, relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.

- 3–5 years of product management, pharmacy operations, healthcare operations, or related experience required.
- Specialty pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturers, patient support programs, hub services, or payer programs preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and implementing operational or technology solutions preferred.
- Understanding of specialty pharmacy operations, limited distribution networks, dispensing workflows, patient support services, and medication access programs.
- Knowledge of pharmacy reimbursement, payer requirements, and pharmaceutical manufacturer programs.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and pharmacy practice standards.
- Knowledge of product management principles, business case development, and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build relationships across clinical, operational, and technical teams.
- Proficiency in using data and performance metrics to drive decisions.
- Effectively communicates product vision, priorities, and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels. Builds alignment across departments and drives consensus.
- Understands the needs of patients, providers, manufacturers, and pharmacy teams and incorporates those needs into product design and enhancement decisions.
- Evaluates operational, financial, and regulatory considerations to make sound recommendations and informed business decisions.
- Identifies opportunities to improve pharmacy workflows, operational efficiency, and service delivery while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
- Takes ownership of deliverables and consistently achieves objectives through effective planning, prioritization, and execution.
