Senior Structural Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at our office in Riyadh to work on the design of some of the most exciting structural design projects in KSA and internationally.

As part of our established team of expert engineers and CAD technicians, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will prepare detailed structural calculations for multiple materials, and using appropriate software. You will work across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Critical Systems, and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, and as you work and are supported towards Chartership.

Having already been accredited with at BEng degree level (or equivalent), you will have gained strong practical experience of structural engineering within a consultancy environment, and be proficient in the use of design and modelling software such as Etabs, Safe, SAP, Robot, Prokon, and Staad Pro. You will be familiar with producing creative design solutions in multiple materials, including steel, reinforced concrete and masonry, and crucially - have a passion for creative and intuitive design.

Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.

Key Requirements:

• Chartered or actively working towards getting chartered (MIStructE)
• Candidates with knowledge of ETBAS, SAFE, SAP etc.
• Experience with Revit
• Knowledge of parametric designing and associated programmes would be advantageous.
• A knowledge of the Building Codes [KSA /UAE] and international codes.
• 7 to 10 years post graduate experience within a similar role / consultancy environment.
• Experience of preparing structural calculation and design reports.
• Able to work independently and in a team of multidisciplinary professionals.
