This position is responsible for providing direction, guidance and leadership to the federal marketing team. The Director of Marketing, Federal Market also oversees all execution of federal marketing initiatives including marketing planning, campaigns, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is an energetic, market-focused professional who can work both independently and within a team environment. The Director of Marketing will supervise multiple Federal Marketing Managers and work collaboratively with senior leadership, federal client managers, and the federal marketing team to execute strategic tactics positioning Dewberry for success in the federal market.

Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Direct the day to day operations of the overall federal marketing team
- →Partner with senior leadership to support corporate market segment tactical planning efforts, especially as they relate to the federal market, in support Dewberry’s long-term business strategy
- →Partner with senior leadership to support with corporate growth initiative goals and objectives, and actively participate in corporate growth forums
- →Support with market / business intelligence efforts, as well as legislative and funding research and analysis to identify and qualify opportunities that align with federal market strategy
- →Lead and manage the federal opportunities pipeline across operational units and market segments
- →Lead and facilitate the development, implementation, and execution of the federal initiative marketing plan
- →Direct the overall federal capture management process
- →Provide direction and management of federal initiative campaigns and strategies (e.g., G Matrix program, federal strategic partnerships, federal client engagement plans, and federal communications plans)
- →Provide guidance and oversee the management of the Federal CPARS Program
- →Serve as a member of the Marketing Leaders Group (MLG)
- →Represent the firm appropriately with teaming partners, subcontractors and clients by delivering sufficient sales acumen and strong knowledge of Dewberry federal portfolio
- →Review federal sales results and marketing costs and support senior leadership with budgetary and financial responsibilities as it relates to the company’s federal initiative
- →Provide leadership and guidance in defining, implementing, and training all federal personnel on best practices, federal standards, writing, and capture lifecycle processes
- →Support onboarding with firm acquisitions as they relate to the federal market and Dewberry’s federal qualifications
- →Oversee the management of federal data in company’s CRM system as well as reporting, and use of PowerBI
- →Track and trend quality of individual performance, products and services to strive for continuous improvement in support of the federal team and Dewberry as a whole
- →Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 15+ years of experience personally producing proposals and managing federal capture efforts for A/E firm preferred
- Prior experience managing marketing staff, conducting performance reviews, mentoring, training, and other management duties are required
- Excellent writing and editing skills are required
- Excellent time management skills are required
- Extensive MS Office experience is required
- Interpersonal and effective communication skills are critical for working on multi-disciplinary teams
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in InDesign, desktop publishing or graphics software preferred
- Prior web research experience preferred, familiarity with A/E research sites (Sam.gov, GovWin, BGov, etc.)
- Experience working with and managing data and reports in a CRM system and using Power BI preferred
- Position involves working overtime (i.e. working more than 40 hours) as necessary to meet deadlines
- Ability to travel as required to support captures and other federal and corporate marketing initiatives

The projected range for this position is $162,000-$209,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
