Production Technician I - 2nd Shift

Under close supervision responsible for the safe production and quality of Frozen Fruit through the operation, maintenance and sanitation of food production and packaging equipment.  May perform the following tasks including lifting, stacking, dumping, pushing and pulling of frozen fruit boxes. Adhere to all GMP, HACCP, safety, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.

• →Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
• →Follow all SOP’s (standard operating procedures) for the operation of the equipment used
• →Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• →Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner
• →Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency, production, downtime
• →Work in all areas of production and packaging, as assigned, which includes operating, being in close proximity to and crossing over or under machinery.
• →Ability to perform the essential functions of the job and perform as a member of a team
• →Will perform a variety of production tasks: including lifting, stacking, dumping, pushing and pulling of frozen fruit boxes.
• →Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and/or holidays
• →Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• →Complete routine documentation associated with the manufacture of product
• →Ability to identify visual defects and make correction as needed, and identify and distinguish between colors
• →Must be able to work in areas of varying temperatures
• →Regular attendance
• →Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws as well as company policies and procedures
• →Must be able to follow the Dole Packaged Foods Code of Conduct
• →Other duties as assigned

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
