Machine Operator 12 Hours (Day Shift)

• →Has the ability and proficiency to setup and operate machines.
• →Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• →Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement solutions.
• →Maintain accurate records of production, including quantities produced, machine settings and any issues encountered.
• →Ability to perform work at process speed and/or standard rates.
• →Advises supervisor with any problems with tools, equipment, fixtures, materials, or setup operator.
• →Maintains daily product and scrap records.
• →Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
• →Keeps work station and surrounding area clean.
• →Maintain all assigned tools.
• →Any other duties are required by management

• • Must have 2 years of manufacturing experience at same location.
  • Mechanically inclined or ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines including cleaning and lubricating machines.
  • Must be willing to be cross trained on multiple roles.
  • Must be able to read, write, and count.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in production.
  • Good hand eye coordination. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Follow all plant and departmental safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to speak, read or write English preferred.
