The Web Designer Senior provides the CAA and Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) web development to ensure comprehensive website management and hosting services for the Department of the Army.
Responsibilities
~1 min read· Provide ad-hoc performance reports, quarterly reviews, and annual summaries covering website performance, security, and maintenance activities, enhanced with AI-generated insights.
· Tailor reports to meet stakeholder needs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

· Maintain proactive communication to address issues and share recommendations, using collaboration tools for real-time stakeholder engagement.
· Implement updates promptly based on stakeholder feedback, proactively identify issues, and recommend improvements.
· Evaluate and integrate new technologies, such as AI, machine learning, and cloud-native solutions, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
· Develop a contingency plan to maintain 99% uptime and address outages, security incidents, or other disruptions, leveraging AI for predictive maintenance.
· Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing, prioritizing and resolving vulnerabilities promptly using automated tools.
· Collaborate seamlessly with third-party vendors (e.g., call centers, database teams) and stakeholders to ensure operational continuity.
Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology discipline AND 7 years of web development experience.
· Professional certifications in web development technologies such as Adobe Certified Expert (ACE), Certified Web Development Professional, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) are highly beneficial.
· Front-end certifications in frameworks like React or Angular.
· Back-end certifications in languages such as Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
· Database management certifications like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
· Certified training in security practices specific to web development.
· Familiar with Dept of War regulations and guidance.
· Secret Clearance
