E-Discovery Project Manager

The E-Discovery Project Manager is an integral part of Latham’s Practice Support Services team. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of a Litigation matter, while acting as a trusted advisor and primary liaison with case team members with the goal of owning the service delivery relationship. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

Other key responsibilities include:

• →Providing project coordination across multiple teams while ensuring an excellent client experience
• →Collaborating with the eDiscovery Solutions Attorneys to develop and implement best practices for handling clients’ electronically stored information (ESI)
• →Understanding client needs and expectations, ensuring requirements are documented, communicated, and incorporated into project plans
• →Developing comprehensive project plans and timelines for eDiscovery projects
• →Overseeing project budgets and financial considerations, ensuring projects are within budget; communicating with stakeholders when scope and/or issues arise that could impact costs for the client
• →Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• →Demonstrate advanced operational skills and expertise with legal processes, electronic discovery best practices, and the ability to advise case teams accordingly
• →Exhibit in-depth knowledge of IT systems architecture including server systems, email systems, database systems, telecommunications systems, mobile devices, social media, and cloud storage and implications for eDiscovery
• →Possess expert level knowledge of forensics collection methodologies, ESI processing and document review technologies

And have:

 

• →A bachelor’s degree or equivalent; six (6) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• →A certification in project management or eDiscovery practices (ex. PMP and/or CEDS), preferably

• →A minimum of six (6) years of experience in electronic discovery consulting, project management, and litigation support, including data processing and document review platforms
• →Prior experience handling second requests, preferably

USD $120,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
