Responsibilities
~1 min readThe Construction Compliance Manager ensures EPC projects meet all contractual, regulatory, labor, and documentation requirements, protecting the company’s financial and operational interests.
This role drives compliance across insurance, bonding, payroll, apprenticeship, and regulatory requirements while maintaining audit-ready documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- COI & Insurance Compliance Management – Track and maintain Certificates of Insurance and ensure subcontractor compliance
- Payment & Performance Bond Compliance – Track required bonds and ensure contractual compliance
- Certified Payroll Compliance – Monitor payroll submissions for prevailing wage and regulatory compliance IRA compliance
- Apprenticeship & Labor Compliance – Track apprenticeship ratios and labor requirements
- Audit & Reporting – Prepare reports and support compliance audits
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with PMs, CMs, and stakeholders to resolve compliance gaps

Education:
- Degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in construction compliance or related field
- Experience with COIs, payroll compliance, and contractor documentation
- Understanding of labor laws and compliance workflows
The expected starting pay range for this role is $80,000 - $99,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
