We are seeking an experienced SAP Fiori Specialist to support a large-scale ERP modernization initiative within a highly regulated federal environment. This role will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of the SAP Fiori user experience, enabling a transition from traditional SAP GUI to a modern, role-based interface.

 

This is a 75% remote position with approximately 25% quarterly travel to the Washington, DC metro area.

 

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of a role-based SAP Fiori UX strategy aligned to end-to-end business processes (e.g., finance, procurement, order management)
  • Configure and manage the Fiori Launchpad, including Spaces, Pages, Catalogs, Groups, and Target Mappings
  • Oversee the activation and deployment of standard Fiori applications, ensuring proper configuration of OData services and system connectivity
  • Collaborate with development teams to extend and enhance Fiori applications using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Fiori Elements while maintaining clean core principles
  • Partner with security teams to ensure proper role-based access and compliance with system authorization requirements
  • Monitor and optimize performance of Fiori applications, including troubleshooting Gateway issues, cache management, and UI5 versioning
  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison, advising functional teams on best-fit Fiori applications and user experience solutions
  • Lead UX testing, issue resolution, and system validation activities
  • Develop training materials and provide guidance to end users to support adoption of Fiori capabilities and modern UX features

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required with an Active Secret Clearance or higher
  • 5+ years of experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, including strong knowledge of S/4HANA Fiori architecture (embedded and/or standalone)
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including Launchpad Service and Work Zone
  • Strong understanding of OData services (SEGW), SAP Gateway, and front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS)
  • Experience with Fiori Elements and other low-code/no-code UX tools such as Screen Personas
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues using tools such as Chrome DevTools and manage transports (CTS+)
  • Familiarity with performance tuning, mobile enablement, and responsive design
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
  • Experience in a federal or highly regulated environment preferred
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • W2 Hourly rate starts at $70.54. Pay rates are based on experience and qualifications, and are subject to change at any time.
