Process Metallurgist

Metallurgist support for division

• →Maintain a safe work environment
• →Cross-train on other metallurgist positions within the division
• →Identify opportunites for improvement in products and processes
• →Design and manage trials for product and process improvements
• →Assist in the development of new rail and structural grades
• →Perform failure investigations and write technical reports outlining findings
• →Participate in ongoing education by attending technical conferences and training

• B.S. in Metallurgical / Materials Engineering (or equivalent degree)
• Outstanding written and oral communication abilities, including presentation skills
• High attention to detail

• Steel industry experience
• Ability to travel
