As our National Jellyfish Specialist, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of jellyfish husbandry and display presentation, ensuring these delicate creatures continue to amaze and inspire our visitors. Overseeing everything from propagation and display innovations to compliance with industry standards, you’ll play a key role in developing our jellyfish displays across SEA LIFE UK locations.

• Providing husbandry support and training to SEA LIFE sites, ensuring jellyfish thrive across all displays.
• Coordinating jellyfish propagation, acquisition, and quarantine while meeting ethical standards.
• Managing the jellyfish polyp bank and sharing best practices across sites.
• Support and drive the running of Day to Day operations at site.
• Collaborating on display developments that bring new, awe-inspiring experiences for our guests.

This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, including weekends and after-hours responsibilities.

• Proven experience in aquarium displays and jellyfish husbandry
• Strong understanding of life support systems and water environments.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to inspire and support teams with Jellyfish across the UK.
• Knowledge of industry standards for health and safety, including zoo licensing regulations.
