Serves as a regional clinical resource supporting Therapeutic Services and Cellular Therapy operations across the Versiti footprint. Delivers patient and donor care while providing operational flexibility, supporting new program implementation, ensuring service continuity, and enabling strategic growth across existing and future markets. Travel throughout the Versiti service area is required based on business needs.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing required
- →Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse required, 2 years preferred required
- One year apheresis experience or related filed preferred
- Experience in critical care, hematology/oncology, and/or dialysis preferred
- Experience with peripheral venipuncture and central venous access devices, preferred preferred
- Experience working in a regional nursing role, travel nursing assignment, or multi-site healthcare environment preferred. preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Versiti service area, including overnight travel as needed to support patient, donor, and operational needs. Travel may comprise up to 30% of work time based on business demands. required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, donors, physicians, hospital staff, and multidisciplinary teams. required
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment. required
- Ability to function independently in diverse healthcare settings while demonstrating sound clinical judgment, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. required
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, irregular schedules, high-acuity clinical situations, and varying hospital workflows and environments. Ability to learn and effectively utilize multiple electronic medical record systems, healthcare technologies, and documentation platforms. required
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient and donor care through professionalism, compassion, and customer service excellence. required
- Supports new service implementation, hospital partner onboarding, and program growth initiatives while maintaining compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. required
- Advanced understanding and application of nursing principles, including pathophysiology, hemodynamics, fluid and electrolyte management, and clinical assessment. required
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Multi-state licensure and additional state licenses (including Michigan and Illinois) must be current at hire or obtained within 90 days of hire. required
- BLS Certification required
- Valid Driver’s License required for designated State and access to a vehicle required
- Spectra Optia® Apheresis System desired
- Therakos® Cellex® Photopheresis System, as applicable desired
- Liposorber® LA-15 System, as applicable desired
- Accessory equipment (IV pumps, blood warmers, non – invasive blood pressure monitor) preferred
- Personal Computer/Laptop and/or tablets required
- Smartphone required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred
- Knowledge and/or experience with hospital based Computerized Patient Record systems (Cerner, EPIC, etc.) preferred
