Maintenance Technician

• →Compete assigned work orders for the day, and document work performed using the internal documentation process.
• →Distribute the shift report at the end of every shift communicating tasks accomplished during the shift.
• →Originate and process urgent work orders when assigned.
• →Perform rounds and complete checklists each shift on the designated production line.
• →Attend daily assigned meetings to assist in identifying priorities for the day.
• →Rapidly respond to urgent priority (prioity1) calls to address the issue in a timely manner.
• →Assist in Root Cause Analysis when involved in the associated failure.
• →Troubleshoot and repair problems with all equipment (production, facilities, auxiliary, etc.)
• →Identify electrical and mechanical issues by using available test equipment (meters, meggers, strobe lights, etc.)
• →Repair and/or replace defective electrical or mechanical equipment.
• →Diagnose, analyze, and repair electronic, electro-mechanical, and instrumentation equipment, operating in all areas, utilizing meters, gauges, and other testing methods.
• →Troubleshoot PLC hardware and software.
• →Assist in identifying parts for repairs.
• →Assist in the installation of new equipment and equipment modification projects.
• →Document all modifications made to equipment during repairs.
• →Performs other duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all production equipment and facility systems. This role performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues, and supports continuous improvement efforts to minimize downtime and enhance production performance. The technician works in close collaboration with operations, engineering, and safety teams to maintain a high-quality manufacturing environment.

• High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience working in a similar role with industrial equipment or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Two (2) year technical degree in related area, preferred.

• Basic electrical/electronic circuit knowledge required.
• Working knowledge of motor control systems, PLCs, and communications systems.
• Working knowledge of production and support equipment.
• Ability to read prints, assembly drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Intermediate mechanical knowledge required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Ability to work well under pressure independently and as part of a team.

• 10% desk work; CMMS and Microsoft.
• 90% standing/walking, climbing, bending, twisting, reaching.
