🔧 What You’ll Do

As a Certified Maintenance professional, your expertise keeps our plant running safely and efficiently. You will:

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair stationary and mobile equipment
  • Work mechanical and electrical equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, PLCs, MCC cabinets, and more
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform necessary repairs
  • Disassemble, rebuild, and reassemble machinery
  • Perform and record preventive maintenance such as inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on equipment
  • Effectively communicate required components for repair and verify repair quality

 

  • Perform welding and torch cutting
  • Splice, adjust and train conveyor belts; install conveyor skirts
  • Rig and hoist equipment safely; understand crane signals
  • Remove, install and align bushings, bearings, sheaves, v-belts, sprockets, couplings and gear reducers
  • Measure and fabricate components with precision (to 1/32”)
  • Cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings

 

  • Troubleshoot and repair 480 volt motor control circuits
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Install and wire 3‑phase motors
  • Run conduit, pull wire, and make enclosure connections
  • Learn and support PLC troubleshooting

 

  • Operate forklifts, manlifts, and eventually become a certified crane operator and signal person
  • Perform preventive maintenance on quarry, maintenance and personnel equipment

 

  • Work evening, night and/or weekend shifts as needed
  • Travel for training
  • Perform other duties as assigned

🧠 What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years mechanical and electrical experience in an industrial environment
  • Ability to read technical documents, follow safety protocols, and communicate effectively
  • Solid math and reasoning skills
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs
  • Comfortable working around heavy machinery, heights, weather exposure, and industrial environments
