Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for 

• Managing the workforce to ensure the production of lime or stone meets or exceeds specifications. 
• Participate in safety training.  
• Ensure that preventive action is taken to avoid nonconformities relating to product, process or the quality system.  

• Participate in the coordination of repairs during outages to maintain a safe and effective flow of work to reduce downtime.

• →Knowledge of operational management 
• →Knowledge of people management skills and working in a union environment
• →Experience in mining and/or heavy manufacturing industry
• →Technical  credibility as it relates to industry, with a preference on mining and kilns
• →Demonstrated ability to assess organizational and people issues, provide coaching and mentoring, and deliver solutions that improve facility performance

• Demonstrate ability to lead in a peer environment without an authoritarian role
• Possess skills in system, project and people management and oversee various actives while motivating and guiding others to accomplish common goal
