Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Inspect generator packages with team assistance and documentation resources
- →Evaluate nonconformance data in quality management system
- →Initiate supplier corrective action requests for severe and recurring nonconformances
- →Validate supplier corrective actions
- →Support first article inspections as a secondary auditor
- →Support supplier qualification audits through documentation collection and capturing Gemba observations
- →Pursue continuing education in new solutions, technologies, and skills
- →Work in coordination with team to achieve Continuous Improvement goals and objectives
- →Perform other related duties as assigned
- Previous experience in quality engineering
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, preferred
- Certification in quality methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is a plus
- General knowledge of mechanical and electrical product designs and concepts
- Data analysis experience
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent driving record
- Willingness to travel at least 50% to various jobsites within North America, as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Conducting root cause analysis and implement correction actions
- Using measurement tools to verify specifications
- Making effective risk assessments
- Working independently and in a team environment
- Moving between projects as priorities change
- Functioning in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Promoting a positive customer experience
