CarTrawler’s Product & Technology team brings innovation to every journey. Together, our engineers, product managers, designers and analysts use creativity, data and AI innovation to solve challenges that make travel easier for everyone. Driving both technical excellence and team performance, this role sits at the heart of delivering high-quality, scalable products that power millions of travel experiences. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary engineering squad, creating the environment for engineers to do their best work while ensuring consistent, meaningful delivery. Working closely with Product and Design, you’ll form part of a collaborative leadership trio, aligning priorities and driving shared outcomes. You’ll also connect across the wider engineering organisation, shaping best practices and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. This is a role where people leadership, delivery focus and technical credibility come together to make real impact.
- At least 5 years of hands-on people management experience in agile, fast-paced software environments.
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to guide engineering decisions and engage in code and design discussions where needed
- Track record of delivering complex software projects, from planning and estimation through to successful release
- Deep understanding of modern software development practices, including system design and CI/CD
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A data-informed, delivery-focused mindset with strong organisational awareness and the ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term goals
