Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Lake Ridge On-Call

Lake Ridge Care Center, a Cassia senior community, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated care team. Whether you are beginning your healthcare journey or bringing valuable experience, at Lake Ridge you will feel appreciated, supported and empowered to grow.

As a CNA at Lake Ridge, you will assist residents with ADLs for our residents which include toileting, bathing, dressing and other activities of daily living. In this role, you'll also help ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment while working closely with Nurses and fellow team members to deliver high-quality, person-centered care. The ideal candidate is a warm, reliable individual who thrives in a collaborative setting, takes pride in supporting the daily well-being of older adults, and seeks a meaningful role with opportunities to expand their skills and be recognized for their dedication. 

Position Type: On-Call

Wage Range: $19.83 - $23.34 / hour depending on experience

Shift Differential:  $4 /per hour for evening and nights

Location: 310 Lake Blvd S, Buffalo, MN 55313

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities: 

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) requirements:

• Current Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate required.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule
• 6+ months of experience required
